Los Niños is an international development organization with 35 years of experience creating paths to self-reliance. The organization works in the US/Mexico border region, the Navajo Nation, and Guatemala.
In the community development programs, families learn to meet their basic needs through nutrition, agriculture, ecology and micro credit programs. People participating in the programs develop themselves and they become aware of other needs in the community, fostering long-term community development.
The Los Niños VolunTours(tm) Program welcomes volunteers from across the United States to learn about the US/Mexico border region, New Mexico (Navajo Nation) and Guatemala (Mayan highlands) through work projects, seminars and cultural events.
