    The Greater New Haven Community Loan Fund, Inc. is the region's flexible source of alternative financing for affordable housing and community development. Through its lending and investment the Fund's mission is to create and sustain vibrant neighborhoods and communities. The Loan Fund is a Certified Community Development Financial Institution established in 1987 that provides loans to developers creating affordable housing, to local non-profit organizations for cash flow and capital purchases. The GNHCLF also provides foreclosure counseling and coordinates a regional effort around foreclosure mitigation and neighborhood stabilization. The Fund also provides a financially sound opportunity for individuals and organizations to make socially responsible investments in their local community.
