PlaNet Finance is a international non-governmental institution founded in 1998 that aims at using the potential of the Internet to develop micro-credit. PF supports Micro-finance institutions (MFI) and the other organisations banking with the poorest.
PF offers the following services for MFI: Rating and quality certification, financial resources, information and researches concerning micro- finance, training for MFI and governments, granting computer equipment and help for the creation of web sites.
PF uses the Internet both as a work platform to provide the MFI with its services and as a collaborative tool to network the skills of its experts located all over the world. An initiative of Dr. Jacques Attali, PlaNet Finance has received top-level international support.
