Our Mission:
To provide compassionate, high quality medical care to the uninsured, low income adult residents of Maryland regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or national origin.
The Clinic:
- Operated by core personnel consisting of:
- three licensed, board-certified physicians specializing in Internal Medicine/Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Obstetrics/Gynecology
- Quality Assurance Manager, Grant Coordinator and Accounting Manager
- approximately 10 other administrative and clinical support staff
- Services also provided by approximately 10 volunteer physicians and mid-level providers from a wide range of specialties
- 7,105 patient encounters in 2010
- Culturally diverse patient population
- Primarily funded by Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services
- Additional funding from various sources including Kaiser Permanente and Susan G. Komen for the Cure
