The Muslim American Society of Boston works to educate, organize, and empower the Muslim community to be active, contributing citizens who are civically engaged, and who are motivated by Islamic values. We strive to achieve this mission by:
1) Developing young Muslims into community leaders
2) Educating and mobilizing the Muslim community to participate in civic affairs
3) Developing interfaith and intrafaith understanding and cooperation on issues of shared concern
4) Addressing root causes and consequences of prejudice and discrimination
5) Developing and promoting faith and culturally relevant programming for youth and families
The Muslim American Society of Boston is located in and manages the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC) in Roxbury, MA, a unique cultural landmark and one of the largest Masjids in the Northeast.
