    The Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco (KACF-­‐SF) is committed to transforming the lives of individuals and families within the Korean American community in the greater San Francisco Bay Area by working to uplift and strengthen those who are most disadvantaged and under-resourced in our community. We do this by:

    • Raising awareness of needs and issues in our community in order to bring attention and new resources to address those needs.
    • Providing grants and capacity-building assistance to community-based organizations working to promote self-sufficiency among our most vulnerable neighbors. Our current funding priority areas are: physical and mental health; senior care and empowerment; safety; and youth empowerment.
    • Fostering philanthropic giving among Korean Americans by providing our supporters with an effective vehicle to magnify the impact of their giving and to build lasting connections across generations and communities.
