Founded in 1999, Congo Square Theatre Company produces definitive and transformative theatre spawned from the African Diaspora. With a nationally known and sought-after Acting Ensemble, Congo Square is recognized and celebrated coast-to-coast as an institution of multicultural theatre that has received numerous regional and national awards for it’s socially-impactful and culturally representative productions, which are all rooted in the African and African-American experiences.
