The Family Support Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency dedicated to strengthening families through providing education, resources, and support to alleviate stress and diffuse the possibility of domestic violence and abuse.
Starting as a single crisis nursery in 1977, our organization has grown to include three crisis nurseries, counseling services, LifeStart Village, and adoption respite care. Last year, the Family Support Center served 1,048 individuals across Salt Lake Valley and provided over 20,000 hours of care. Ninety percent of the families served last year were at or below the federal poverty level.
