Vidyagrants.org, a social startup based in Chicago, will bring poor children into the private education system which they would not otherwise be able to afford. Our target schools will have fees of about $100 USD/year. Of this amount, 80% will be covered by a Vidya grant given by a donor. The donors will choose the recipient based on the background of the child posted on the website. Our business model is very similar to charitywater.org.
