Nickelsville, founded in 2008, pioneered tiny house villages for homeless individuals, couples, families, and pets in Seattle. Our mission is to survive and solve homelessness. Our villages have no staff on site, but are managed day-to-day by the people who live there. Weekly village meetings include democratic elections of three leaders to keep operations running smoothly. Once a week there's a Central Committee Meeting where Nickelsville's broader business is conducted.
