The Black Parent Initiative

The Black Parent Initiative (BPI) is a growing four year old organization, whose mission encompasses; family transformation, wealth generation and is parent and or adult focused. Our primary emphasis is building family, parent and community capacity to leverage and skillfully use the broad base determinants and key correlates of academic achievement among Black school age youth. We do this by conducting parent and family trainings, holding support groups and providing families with culturally focused couple, parent, family therapy and supports.
