The mission of the Talcott Mountain Science Center for Student Involvement, Inc. is "Inspiring today's children to invent tomorrow." For more than 50 years, TMSC has provided young people with hands-on, inquiry-based learning opportunities in an environment that balances natural resources with modern technology. TMSC programs include weekend, vacation, and summer STEAM programs; community outreach; and professional development for science educators. TMSC is also home to Talcott Mountain Academy, a private, independent day school for gifted and talented students in grades K-8.
