Ipas works globally to improve women's lives through a focus on reproductive health. Our work is based on the principle that every woman has a right to the highest attainable standard of health, to safe reproductive choices, adn to high quality health care. We concentrate on preventing unsafe abortion, improving treatment of its complications, and reducing its consequences. We strive to empower women by increasing access to services that enhance their reproductive and sexual health. Ipas technologies, training, research and technical assistance: support the development of women-centered reproductive health policies; improve the quality and sustainability of service; ensure the long-term availability of reproductive health technologies; and promote women's active involovement in improving health care.
