ICRI is an international nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of children and families around the world. Since its founding in 1981, ICRI has focused on early childhood care and education, children’s rights, empowerment of women and girls, maternal and child health, and grassroots community development. Hearts Leap Preschools: At Hearts Leap, it is our aim to provide an exciting, stimulating and creative environment and education for children. We believe that education is a lifelong process and that all adults and peers with whom they come in contact influence children. Parents and Early Childhood Educators are partners in making school a positive and beneficial experience for young children. Our Hearts Leap community includes Hearts Leap, Hearts Leap North, and Hearts Leap Beginnings in Berkeley and Hearts Leap Lakeview in Oakland.
ICRI/Stanford University Children's Centers: As of October 2, 2017, ICRI commenced operations of Stanford University's three early childhood and infant/toddler programs: Arboretum, Madera Grove and Stock Farm Road Children's Centers.
