E8 Angels

E8 is a not-for-profit membership organization of private investors. Our sole focus is on early-stage climate tech companies whose innovations increase the sustainability and health of our planet. We meld our pursuit of profitable investments with our pursuit of a higher purpose – accelerating the transition to a cleaner future and a better world.

The E8 organization started about 15 years ago and has grown to a membership of 130 diverse investors spread across the United States, with members in Europe and Canada. This year alone, E8 members invested over $8M in climate tech startups. Members meet twice monthly to hear early-stage climate tech companies present their investment opportunities, attend educational workshops, and network with entrepreneurs, sponsors, and the larger community of people concerned with making our world more sustainable. Meetings are primarily hosted on Zoom with 65-75 attendees with occasional in person networking-style events.
