  • Sobre Nós

Named after the United Farm Workers co-founder, the Dolores Huerta Labor Institute is an educational partnership between the Los Angeles Community College District and founding Los Angeles unions. It aims to educate community college students about the long neglected history, rich diverse cultural heritage, and present position of working people, and equips students with the tools to analyze and understand their experiences in the workplace. The Institute does this through speaker series, providing resources for faculty, offering internship and volunteer opportunities for students and developing labor studies and labor-themed courses.
