Pan African Center for Peace

Behind the glitter of globalization, many people and places are left behind. In both, the richest and poorest nations, individuals, families and communities struggle to make ends meet under adverse conditions, seeking opportunities, access to basic resources, and human rights. Numerous challenges including war, threats to health, and human welfare provide the motivation for a critical examination of peaceful developmental strategies and policies. It is upon this that the Pan African Centre for Peace & Conflict Resolution was established to recruit, place and host local and International Volunteers in striving to reach both grass roots associations, schools and communities. We do our work by initiating and fostering partnerships with these stakeholders, and by engaging children and youths in peace education, community health awareness, social justice, life-skill training. Our vision at PAC is to create an environment in which children, youths and women may enjoy peaceful community life with access to health care, education and employment opportunities for their own self-reliance. We strive to ‘’Transform the mind, molding the heart’’.
