Habitat for Humanity-La Crosse (WI)

Habitat for Humanity works to eliminate poverty housing by partnering with low-income families to build homes.

WE BUILD HOMES. With the help of volunteers and financial and in-kind contributions, our organization builds 24-6 homes each year.

WE FIX HOMES. Our Critical Home Repair program helps families with emergency repairs on their homes.

WE REVITALIZE NEIGHBORHOODS. ReNEW La Crosse Neighborhoods is a partnership of neighbors and organizations working together to make neighborhoods an even better place to live, work, and play.

WE HELP THE ELDERLY AND DISABLED. Neighbors Day is an annual event to help the elderly and disabled individuals in the City of La Crosse with help cleaning up their yards for Spring.

WE RUN A RESTORE. Open to the Public, the ReStore is Habitat’s discount home improvement store. We sell donated new and gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies, windows, plumbing, home goods, and more. 

WE ReClaim MATERIALS. We remove useable materials from homes and businesses being demolished or remodeled. The items are diverted from the landfill and are sold at the ReStore.
