The SPIN Academy offers an unparalleled training opportunity for progressive activists who tirelessly work with media to advance their organization's mission. Each year's class consists of social justice advocates from around the nation who work on society's more pressing challenges. More than 30 communications consultants provide workshops on strategic planning, framing and messaging, online tactics, working with reporters, and many more. Participants chosen from the competitive application process are also provided a one-on-one coaching session to address their particular questions or unique situation.
