The Francis Mill Preservation Society has been created to implement the restoration of the Francis Grist Mill and see to its permanent protection as a community icon. Upon restoration, the Society will be charged with the oversight of public access to the site for school children as well as other interested groups and individuals. It is our goal that the Society will serve as an opportunity for future generations to visit a working structure that reflects our mountain heritage.
