Rights & Democracy Project

  • Sobre Nós

Rights & Democracy (RAD) is a member-led, people’s organization working in Vermont and New Hampshire. Our mission is to shift the political landscape through electoral and community organizing to ensure that the values and needs of our communities guide the policies of our government. We are doing this by building a popular movement to advance human rights, dismantle economic inequality, end systemic oppression, and build a thriving multiracial democracy.

RAD is a 501(c)(4) organization that is affiliated with the Rights & Democracy Institute (RDI), a charitable 5o1(c)(3) non-profit grassroots organization, with the mission of advancing human rights and strengthening our democracy through grassroots organizing, transformative policy and supporting the development of a new generation of leaders from rural communities across Vermont and New Hampshire.
