Heartland Center is a non-profit legal center that serves low-wage workers in areas of eviction defense, employment, and consumer protection. Heartland collaborates with local movement partners to enact systemic change. It is the mission of the Heartland Center for Jobs and Freedom to create opportunities for workers to learn and exercise their rights, realize their collective power, and develop the leadership skills necessary to advocate for a racially and economically just society.
