Schools L.A. Students Deserve Grassroots Coalition

In 2013, parents, teachers, students and community members came together to launch a new grassroots campaign to change schools and education in Los Angeles. Groups including the Coalition for Educational Justice, Progressive Educators for Action, Youth Justice Coalition, and others, along with folks from around the city, came together to build a vision and the action necessary to win the schools that Los Angeles students deserve.The heart of this campaign is to build a vision for the kind of schools and education we want and to fight to get it. At the same time, we are not waiting. The people involved in this campaign are, in different ways, building the kind of schools they want now!
