Florida International University - Department of Public Administration

The FIU Department of Public Administration provides students with a professional education in public sector and nonprofit management, offering a Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA), NASPAA-accredited Master of Public Administration (MPA), Executive MPA, Weekend MPA, Graduate certificates and Ph. D in Public Affairs. The 43-year old FIU MPA program is ranked as the best in South Florida and is the only NASPAA-accredited MPA program in Miami-Dade County. The faculty have extensive publication records and are nationally and internationally recognized in their fields. Several have held significant positions in federal, state and local government as well as in non-profit and private sectors. Others have extensive experience with international organizations.

Florida International University (FIU) is Miami-Dade County's first public, four-year research university. With more that 48,000 students, 1,000+ full-time faculty members and more than 155,000 alumni, FIU is one of South Florida's anchor institutions. FIU offers more that 180 bachelor, master and doctoral degrees.
