THEATRE IN EDUCATION

Theatre In Education (T.I.E)- a Society Registered Organisation from Kolkata. We believe that Theatre is a composite art form which can be an effective medium of education as well as a gateway to enhance social and moral values in children/adults. Our main objectives are to:

- Expand theatre and other art forms in every sphere of our society

- Make theare and other art forms an alternative medium of learning and teaching.

-Make theatre and art as an alternative process of psychological grooming for children

- Make theatre and other art forms an alternative medium of Social Awareness.

             To justify our objectives, we are conducting workshops for children and youth since 2015. We have a group of specialist facilitators. They have rich of experiences working with children, communicating with them and using theatre as a medium of their total education. We also perform for various social awareness campaigns. Street Drama and Puppet shows are our main tools to make the people aware of different social and health issues.
