The Community Power Collective’s (CPC) mission is to build power with low-income tenants and workers through transformative organizing to win economic justice, community control of land and housing, and to propagate systems of cooperation in Boyle Heights and the greater Los Angeles area. We are a member-led organization, established in May 2020 in this formation, but carrying a legacy of 25 years of economic and housing justice organizing in the Eastside and an active participant of LA’s housing justice movement and street vendor justice movement in California.
