Conservation Lands Foundation, Inc

  • About Us

We believe long-lasting conservation is rooted in community-based action.

For more than a decade we’ve led the only national movement of grassroots advocates to protect, restore and expand National Conservation Lands.

The vision in 2007 to create an organization dedicated to holding the Department of Interior accountable for its mandate to conserve lands and waters managed by the Bureau of Land Management has resulted in the protection of 36 million acres. Protections that require constant vigilance.

We're headquartered in Durango, Colorado with field offices throughout the West and in Washington, D.C.
