In partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Disabilities, Covenant Community deepened its reach and launched a Recovery Community Organization (RCO), Recovery Resource of Atlanta-Midtown (RRAM) in 2019. This peer-led, peer-run organization is the only institution within midtown Atlanta. We provide and connect individuals to services that allow us to fill the gaps in current systems of care for substance use and misuse disorders. RRAM provides services that meet four critical domains to maintaining personal recovery: Home, Health, Purpose, and Community.
Since its inception, the RRAM has served over 3,000 unduplicated peers through the provision of in-person and virtual peer support meetings such as 12-step, All Pathways to Recovery, referrals to treatment, education and advocacy, career services, food, clothing, transportation, and harm reduction.
The RRAM’s mission is to provide everyone with access to high-quality supports and services that help maintain long-term recovery. Our vision is to improve the total health and well-being of any individual seeking or in long-term recovery from substance use disorders.
