Stars for our Troops - Motto - Thanking those that Served or are Serving.

We repurpose the embroidered Stars from retired American made USA flags and give them with a message to those currently serving in the military, our veterans and first responders. Those that are defending our lives, our communities and our country every day.

This is an all age and abilities project. Locally, it can be done at home with supplies available or at Star Parties where we bring the supplies and work together preparing the Stars to be joined with a message "I am part of our American flag that has flown over the USA. I can no longer fly. The sun and winds caused me to become tattered and torn. Please carry me as a reminder that YOU are not forgotten.” and placed in a small pouch ready to be shared. 50 of the pouched Stars go together ready to be mailed or delivered to those wishing to honor our heroes. The Star Party is about 2 hours long.
