Extended Families Australia is a not-for-profit incorporated association that provides support, respite, significant social relationships and community participation for children with disabilities and their families.
Through our volunteer matches we offer children with a disability and their families an opportunity to develop a loving and caring relationship with a supportive volunteer. For thirty five years Extended Families Australia has been bringing the gift of friendship to children with disabilities and their families.
Extended Families facilitates positive connections between people within a community to provide support to children with disabilities and their families. We seek to widen social networks, empower individuals, promote inclusion and strengthen the bonds people have within thier local area.
