The Climate and Community Project (CCP) is a progressive climate policy think tank that mobilizes a network of 40+ experts producing cutting edge scholarly research to design and win our generation’s determining suite of policy interventions. We advance bold ideas to decarbonize the built environment; reorder systems of political power; and embolden a multiracial working class. Our research has been influential in the climate policy space from the local to national level– including defining the planks of the Green New Deal for Public Schools, producing housing research that directly inspired the Whole Homes Repair program passed in Pennsylvania, and changing narratives on supply chain justice and critical minerals with first-of-its-kind modeling. We work with our fellows to develop timely research and to help drive the conversation around progressive climate policy. The Climate and Community Project is a project of the Tides Center.
