Northwest Harvest

Founded in 1967 to address hunger in Seattle, Northwest Harvest has grown to become a statewide hunger relief agency. We are much more than a food bank! In addition to our Cherry Street food bank that serves an average of 5,000 services weekly; we operate a food distribution network that involves procurement and distribution activities using our warehouses in Kent, Spokane and Yakima and transportation fleet to ensure fresh food is available to more than 380 community partners: schools, foodbanks and meal programs.

We continue to educate, support and advocate at a grass-roots and policy level to ensure that those making policy decisions and allocating resources are aware of our client’s and communities’ needs.

Our work is possible because of generous contributions and the efforts of our employees and volunteers. We are people helping people.
