Propel ATL, formerly the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and PEDS, seeks an enthusiastic community member to join our team as Program Coordinator.
We are committed to building a transportation system that ensures access to opportunity through investments that repair the harmful effects of institutional racism and foster an inclusive community. Informed by the big-picture goals of our strategic plan, the Program Coordinator will adeptly manage the breadth of their responsibilities as an essential member of our team. Successful team members exercise exemplary critical thinking skills, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are comfortable working in a small organization.
The main purpose of the Program Coordinator position is to ensure the effective implementation of our programs by managing administrative tasks, coordinating the logistics of program activities, and building community partnerships.
Propel ATL programs include Bicycle Safety Education and Walk ATL. Program activities include classes, bike rides, webinars, outreach events, walk audits, and meetings. The Program Coordinator supports partnerships and helps mobilize public support for our mission.
This position has a particular focus on direct services and engagement. The Program Coordinator builds and cultivates strong relationships with community-based organizations, advocacy partners, residents, supporters, and volunteers. They also manage program contractors and vendors.
