Identifying and reaching out to potential partners, community volunteers and advocates
Providing support to Community Sustainability department programs and partner programs including organizing classes and workshops on environmental justice and energy equity topics
Providing support to New Haven based resident-driven sustainability initiatives & potential advocates
As needed, providing general assistance to the Director and Department of Community Sustainability

Top level responsibilities of the Environmental Justice Specialist will include:

Supporting and engaging with local and statewide energy equity and environmental justice partner organizations.

Providing support to Community Sustainability department programs and partner programs including organizing classes and workshops on environmental justice and energy equity topics
Providing support to New Haven based resident-driven sustainability initiatives & potential advocates
As needed, providing general assistance to the Director and Department of Community Sustainability
