Love Your Block Hartford

Love Your Block (LYB) is a program that brings together city leaders and citizens to revitalize neighborhoods one block at a time. LYB Hartford partners with the City of Hartford, Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance (SINA) and the Frog Hollow Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) to focus on revitalization efforts in the Frog Hollow neighborhood. LYB Hartford is a mini-grant program that supports resident-driven improvement projects in the Frog Hollow Neighborhood. As one of ten cities chosen by Cities of Service, LYB Hartford received $25,000 in funding to be used over two years and two AmeriCorps VISTAs. Love Your Block Hartford's goal is to increase neighborhood pride by creating opportunities for residents to own and lead change in their community. We will achieve this by providing competitive mini-grants that support volunteer-led anti-blight projects in the Frog Hollow Neighborhood.
