Northwest Branch Library

History: The Northwest Branch Library was built in 1983 and dedicated in May 1984 and has proudly served the Cypress area ever since. Located off of Jones Road and Regency Green Drive, the library is centrally located near several large subdivisions and serves as a quintessential neighborhood library. The library was renovated in 2004 and in 2018 it was recognized as an official Family Place Library. The Library provides daily programs for customers of all ages. It is a polling place for state and national elections. It also hosts AARP Tax-Aide which offers free tax preparation help each year beginning in February. Northwest Branch Library continues to grow with the community in order to provide the programs and services it wants and needs.
