As one of Oregon's ESDs, Lane ESD provides services to school districts in Lane County.
Services are outlined in Lane ESD's Local Service Plan (see Documents), which is developed in collaboration with school districts and approved annually by every Lane County school board.
Services focus on four primary areas:

Goals
The ESD sets the standard as a model service provider by:
- Exceeding the goals of our local service plan
- Maximizing our resources to achieve outstanding results
- Our students becoming integral members of their communities
- Local school districts recognizing the relationship between Lane ESD support services and improvement in student achievement
Governance
- Lane ESD is governed by a seven-member elected board with representatives from throughout Lane County.
