Work the World was founded in 2005 and today we are the largest specialist provider of overseas healthcare placements. Last year alone we facilitated internships and electives for more than 1500 healthcare students and professionals across our seven programs in Africa, Asia and South America.
We offer:
- Carefully structured, well-organized, tailored clinical placements
- Safe, secure local accommodation in a Work the World house with other participants and on-site caterer and house-keeper
- Comprehensive pre-departure preparation from experienced and knowledgeable head-office staff
- Supporting university and visa documentation
- Support, advice and guidance from full-time local staff, available 24/7 whilst you are in-country
- Excellent opportunities for further travel and a network of likeminded people to travel with
- Rotations, clerkships, clinicals, "away" electives, global health placements - we can arrange whatever you need
- We work with participants from all over the world and will tailor your placement to suit your requirements
