ESCO Uganda Ltd processes and exports various commodities, predominantly cocoa. Since 1999 we have been building sustainable and economically viable cocoa production by providing smallholder farmers with the resources and knowhow to grow and tend cocoa trees. We are committed to the environmental and economic sustainability of our value chain, demonstrated by buying directly from farmers, training them in organic and Rainforest Alliance practices, conducting initiatives which benefit the communities we work with, and partnering with development organisations to further our sustainability goals. Other commodities we buy, process, and export are vanilla, chillies, moringa, papain, and cinchona.
