Sigora Solar is an solar energy social enterprise with the mission to provide affordable alternative energy that is ethically sourced with US-made panels and componentry. We are a small business that operates out of a reimagined and solar-powered old industrial building in a small town in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. While we operate on a for-profit basis for US-sales, we use our profits to (a) grow the company in order to expand the reach of alternative energy in the Virignia, DC, and Maryland regions, thereby lowering US carbon emmissions; and (b) to direct additional solar development to underdeveloped and international contexts. This year, we are launching our first interational mission to expand solar powered development in Haiti in partnership with a local college program.
