Peer to Peer Fundraising Manager

We are currently in search of a Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Manager to join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This is a Full-Time, Remote position with a salary of $55,000- $70,000.

LOCATION: Remote with on-site requirements for events- New York City, Massachusetts, Louisiana or Mississippi

POSITION TITLE: Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Manager

SCHEDULE: Full-Time

DURATION: Permanent role

SALARY: $55,000- $70,000 (DOE)

Is This Your Dream Job? The Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Manager is responsible for implementing AFSP’s fundraising events and revenue generating initiatives within local area.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years experience in peer-to-peer fundraising with demonstrated success
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree
• Resident of NYC, MA, LA or MS
• Driver’s License- Preferred

How You Will Spend Your Day: 

• Plan, manage, and implement the organization’s signature fundraising events, Community Walks and Campus Walks.
• Implement all other approved chapter fundraising events and revenue generating events and initiatives.
• Develop budgets for all walk and non-walk fundraising events.                                  
• Recruit, train, and manage all walk and other fundraising event committee members and day-of event volunteers.
• Collaborate with event-related vendors, municipalities, and venues.
• Coordinate with the appropriate national staff on corporate, foundation, and grant fundraising events.
• Secure sponsorships for all fundraising activities.
• Aim for a minimum 20% increase in fundraising each year.
• Assist the Programs Manager with planning and implementing Program events.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
