Cappelli’s mission is to help you wear your hats well.

The leaders of nonprofit organizations wear many hats– from stakeholder engagement to donor retention to program execution to staff management– and jump regularly among several different tasks, requirements, themes, thoughts and strategies. After being involved with nonprofit organizations for over twenty years, I now focus on helping other nonprofit leaders run their organizations well.

Cappelli (Italian for “hats”) guides executives and boards toward the establishment of effective internal structures in order to successfully work toward your mission, fulfill your vision, achieve your strategic goals, and attract and retain donors. My work facilitates investment in your organization’s long-term success by guiding nonprofit leaders in strategic planning, leadership development and organizational management.

My experience, expertise and skills are unique in the nonprofit sector in Colorado and beyond. I have worked for small and large nonprofit organizations, volunteered my time across the world, and served on several boards. I have worked with efficient, forward-thinking and strategic organizations, and I have experienced organizations with no strategic vision or direction, little to no leadership structure, an ineffective governance system, no knowledge management or succession plan, and an overall lack of focus toward their mission. I want to help all organizations operate and strategize effectively so they may achieve the greatest impact.
