Role Summary:

The Volunteer Interviewer plays a critical role in shaping our team by identifying and selecting volunteers who are best suited to our organization’s goals and values. This position involves conducting interviews with prospective volunteers, assessing their skills and compatibility with our needs, and helping to place them in roles where they can be most effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Volunteer Coordinator to understand the specific requirements for volunteer roles.
• Schedule and conduct interviews with potential volunteers using various platforms (in-person, phone, or video calls).
• Assess the qualifications, skills, and organizational fit of each candidate.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of interviews and communications.
• Assist in the orientation and placement of selected volunteers.
• Continuously improve the interview process based on feedback and outcomes.
