Envision Hospice is seeking caring volunteers to be companions to patients on hospice on a regular basis. Hospice Companion Volunteers provide friendship and companionship to patients who are in the final weeks or months of their life. Volunteers often read books, play music, play games, watch television, complete puzzles or just have conversations with patients.

Volunteers do not need any experience working in a hospice setting. Training is provided to all volunteers.

Volunteer are required to pass a background check, have a negative TB skin test and attend virtual volunteer meetings. All onboarding costs are paid for by Envision.
