Media Director

This is a non compensation position but academic credits may be available. Approximately 10 hours of remote work per month anticipated.

About Terra Firma Floors:

Founded in 2022 by three friends wanting to eliminate dirt floors in Latin America with concrete floors. Our model is hiring locals in poverty level areas and paying them as contractors and masons. Currently TFF has a Project in Comalapa, Guatamala that built 35 floors in 2023 (started May2023) and is projected to build 100 floors in 2024.

Duties:

A. Assist with planning, marketing, and implementation of events and fundraisers.

B. Develop Social media including website, Facebook, Instagram

C. Manage participant and donor data in software and email communications with donors.

D. Assist with outreach in relationships with donors, grantees, nonprofit partners, board and committee members.

Skills Needed:

• Commitment to the Purpose and Mission of TFF

• Technical skills with Word, Excell, Google Drive and social media platforms

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Self discipline and time management skills

• Dependable and punctual team player

• Good organizational and problem solving ability
