Volunteers help provide a deeper level of service for Hospice patients. plus, some patients don't have a family member who can visit them, and volunteers can help fill that gap and provide social support for patients. By becoming a Hospice Volunteer is more than just lending a helping hand, it is an opportunity to impact the lives of those in end-of-life care. Volunteers fill in the critical job of providing respite for caregivers. Even the Volunteers don't interact directly with patients and families, their work is still important.
