Hostel Detroit was formed in the fall of 2010 with the goal of providing a clean, safe, and inexpensive place to stay for travelers who want to explore Downtown Detroit and its surrounding neighborhoods. Run as a 501(c)3 non-profit, Hostel Detroit will serve as a welcome mat for young people traveling to Southeast Michigan looking to explore, be connected with local people, activities and events, and get a glimpse of the opportunities available to them in the city.
