Transnational Villages Network/Red de Pueblos Trasnacionales, Inc., is an immigrant-led and immigrant powered 501(c)3 organization founded in 2019 in the Bronx with the mission of advancing full inclusion and access to rights for the over 500,000 indigenous immigrants living in NYC. La Red fulfills its mission through transnational organizing, language justice grassroots advocacy, popular education, and cultural events.
La Red de Pueblos runs its programming and events using culturally competent services and organizing models from indigenous communities of origin that empower the indigenous immigrant community to fight injustice and overcome the challenges of living in New York City as a new immigrant.
Our activities include an annual School for Life, Health and Justice, an annual family reunification event, a City-wide cultural Festival, an indigenous interpreters collective, a media project and several cultural events.
