At Sydenstricker United Methodist Church, our mission is that of the United Methodist Church- to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our vision is to be Christ's love in action, bringing God to people and people to God. Our goal is to reach out in service and welcome all people so that each individual may be nurtured and transformed as a disciple of Christ. We are called to:
- INVITE, reaching out and receive people just as they are
- FORM, helping individuals relate to God
- EQUIP, developing, supporting and nurturing individuals as they grow in discipleship
- and SEND, affirming and sending disciples into the community to create a more just and loving world
This is "Christ's Love in Action."
