Our mission is to provide compassionate, quality comfort care that enhances the lives of people with life limiting illness and their families. We care for an average of 3600 patients with life-limiting illness each year. Our inpatient units provide acute symptom and pain management for patients and much-needed respite for caregivers.
We believe in working as a team, which includes RN(case manager), social worker, spiritual care, nurses' aide, physician, and volunteer. Our volunteers are a very important part of the hospice team approach and can provide respite for the caregiver, as well as, companionship for the patient. Our volunteers also are needed in our 2 in-patient units, located in Mt. Lebanon and Lawrenceville.
We have five office sites in Mt. Lebanon, Manchester, Forest Hills, Lawrenceville and Hermitage. We meet stringent federal, state and local health care standards.
